Crecias Shiburi

User experience designer

About me

My name is Crecias, and I am a UX/UI Designer with a strong background in development. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with clients from diverse industries and countries, gaining valuable experience in startups, agencies, and corporate environments.

I have adapted to working independently, in small teams, and as part of larger organizations. Beyond sharpening my design expertise, these experiences have taught me empathy, people management, and how different businesses operate. I leverage these skills to create designs that not only deliver exceptional user experiences but also align with business and market goals.

Specialties

User Research
I conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of target users. This involves techniques such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies.
Information Architecture (IA)
I practice of organizing and structuring content in a way that users can easily understand and navigate. This includes creating site maps, hierarchies, and navigation flows.
Interaction Design (IxD)
design focuses on how users interact with a system — such as buttons, transitions, gestures, and animations. It defines how the interface responds to user input.
Wireframing and Prototyping
I create wireframes (low-fidelity layout sketches) and prototypes (interactive, testable mockups) to represent the design and functionality of a product before development.
Visual Design (UI Design)
i crafting the look and feel of an interface (colors, typography, spacing, icons). To ensure the interface is visually appealing and aligns with the brand while supporting usability.
Usability Testing
Testing prototypes or finished products with real users to identify usability issues and areas for improvement.

My journey into design was inspired by my early career as a musician, which nurtured my creativity and problem-solving mindset. Later, I transitioned into software development, where I successfully delivered impactful products for clients before fully embracing UX/UI design. When I’m not designing, I enjoy traveling and exploring nature, as well as experimenting with architectural design as a creative outlet.
